Bee Creek Bespoke

Shipping

Insured, signed, scheduled.

Loose stones and finished pieces do not leave casually. Carrier, insurance, and timing are confirmed before shipment.

Carriers and insurance

Domestic shipments move via FedEx Priority Overnight or USPS Registered Mail — the standards used in the fine-gem trade — fully insured for the purchase value. Adult signature is required on delivery for every shipment regardless of value. Higher-ticket deliveries may add identity verification or appointment-confirmed delivery.

Timing

Obtainable stones ship within 2–5 business days after payment clears and the delivery address is verified. Commission timelines are scoped at acceptance and confirmed in writing before the rough goes to the lap.

Address verification

Bee Creek will only ship to the billing address on file or to an address verified directly with the buyer. Hold-for-pickup at a FedEx counter is available on request. Address changes after dispatch are not always possible — confirm the destination before checkout.

International

International shipments are accepted on a case-by-case basis depending on insurance availability, import restrictions, and customs paperwork. Duties, taxes, VAT, and any local fees are the buyer's responsibility unless agreed otherwise in writing. Bee Creek declares the full purchase value; under-declaration is not offered.

In-person handover

Stones can be handed over in person at the Tucson Gem Show in February, at a Westlake Goldsmiths studio appointment in Austin, or by mutual arrangement at a major industry show. In-person handover replaces shipping; no insurance is provided after handoff.

Tracking, loss, and damage

Tracking and insured-shipment confirmation are emailed at dispatch. If a shipment arrives late, damaged, or fails to arrive, write the studio within 48 hours of the carrier's last scan so the insurance claim can be opened on time. Photograph any damage to the outer parcel before opening.

Presentation

Stones ship in a Bee Creek presentation case with the signed cut sheet and any listed lab certificate. Commissions ship with the full project record — yield notes, in-progress photos, and the final cut sheet.
