Bee Creek Bespoke

Returns

Inspection, not impulse.

The return path is built for honest inspection of high-consideration stones, not commodity cart churn.

Loose stones

Loose stones include a 7-day inspection window starting on receipt of the stone. The stone must return unaltered, unset, undamaged, and with all documentation. Buyers are responsible for any shipping costs and processing fees associated with refunds.

Commissions

Custom cutting work is final once the client approves the plan and the stone goes to the lap. The non-refundable deposit covers rough sourcing, design time, and lap setup; the balance is due before shipment. If the finished stone materially departs from the agreed plan, write the studio immediately and we will make it right.

Set work

Pieces set through Westlake Goldsmiths follow the setting studio's policy for finished jewelry — resizing, repair, modification, and the post-setting return path are governed by Westlake's terms, not these.

How to start a return

Email the studio at howdy@beecreekbespoke.com within the inspection window with the order short-code and a brief reason. Bee Creek will reply with a return-merchandise authorization, the return address, and any required customs paperwork before you ship. Returns received without prior authorization are refused at the carrier and sent back at the buyer's expense.

Return shipping

Return shipping must be insured for the full purchase value, trackable, and signature-required — FedEx Priority Overnight or USPS Registered Mail are the only accepted carriers for value over $5,000. Pack the stone in its original presentation case inside a hard outer parcel. Bee Creek is not responsible for return shipments lost in transit when carriers other than these are used.

Refund timing

Once the stone is received and inspected against the original cut sheet, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 business days. Stripe-card refunds typically post within 5–10 business days; ACH refunds within 5–7; wire refunds within 3–5 business days. Shipping costs (both directions) and any payment-processor fees are deducted from the refund.

Final-sale exclusions

Stones sold in person at a gem show, custom-cut commissions accepted off-plan in writing, and any stone the buyer has had set, repaired, modified, or appraised by a third party are final sale.
